About Us AdNet/AccountNet, Inc. is an 8(a), WOSB, and WBE-owned management consulting firm providing federal agencies with expert Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), diversity, and workforce support services. The survey will be conducted in approximately 385 public middle and high schools in across the 23 county jurisdictions and the City of MD. The results of the Maryland Youth Risk Behavior Survey (MD YRBS) will be used to (1) monitor health-risk behaviors among middle and high school students; (2) evaluate the impact of state and local efforts to prevent health-risk behaviors; and (3) improve school health education policies and programs. We need professional individuals throughout the state who have an interest in the health and well-being of adolescents to help administer the web survey. This is a temporary position in which you can expect to work on average 3 days per week for approximately 6-8 weeks. Data Collectors must be available full-time for the duration of the survey period. CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ONLY FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES: Anne Arundel Baltimore City Calvert St. Mary's Charles Dorchester Wicomico Somerset Worcester Garrett Allegheny Kent Queen Anne's Talbot Caroline POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Reliable internet access to receive assignments and enter daily participation information Personal email account for project communications A cell phone that can be used to contact assigned schools in preparation for survey administration visit A reliable vehicle in good working condition to be used for travel to assigned schools A valid driver's license Ability to successfully pass a background screening, drug test, and driver's abstract review Successful completion of a mandatory 2-day in-person training Willingness to travel within Maryland EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience in field data collection Experience in working with adolescents, particularly in a school setting Experience in working with the public and leading a task Experience working independently with limited day-to-day supervision Experience using a computer/tablet, including navigating the internet, using web applications, emailing, and attaching files PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Ability to follow detailed protocols and schedules Technologically proficient with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision Ability to adhere to tight schedules and deadlines Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups Available for early morning assignments; scheduled arrival times may be as early as 6:00 a.m. Ability to lift and carry survey supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Professional appearance and demeanor WHEN: A mandatory 2-day training session will take place on September 30 and October 1, 2026, in Rockville, MD. Upon successful completion of training, data collection will begin immediately and continue through December 2026.
