### **Job Overview:** We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented **Data Designer and Model** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and structuring data models, ensuring the creation and maintenance of efficient, scalable, and effective data solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, data flow, and the application of modeling techniques to meet business and analytical needs. ### **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Modeling**: Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, including logical, physical, and conceptual models. Ensure models align with business goals and system requirements. - **Data Architecture**: Create and manage data architecture frameworks that support the organization’s business intelligence, reporting, and data integration needs. - **Data Analysis and Design**: Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional data models. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and optimize the design accordingly. - **Data Quality Assurance**: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality by developing effective validation rules and standards for the data models. - **Database Design**: Develop normalized and denormalized database structures to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing. - **ETL and Data Integration**: Work with data engineers to design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring seamless integration of diverse data sources into the data warehouse. - **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to ensure the effective design of data systems. - **Documentation**: Document data models, design specifications, and data definitions, maintaining clear records for future reference and scalability. - **Continuous Improvement**: Stay up to date with emerging data modeling trends, technologies, and industry best practices, and continuously enhance the organization’s data strategies. ### **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in data modeling, data design, and database management. - Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools. - Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to think logically and analytically. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. ### **Desired Skills:** - Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Understanding of advanced data management concepts (e.g., data governance, master data management). - Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application to data modeling. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. ### **Personal Attributes:** - Detail-oriented and meticulous in data design and validation. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. - A strong communicator who can convey complex data topics to both technical and non-technical team members. - Continuous learner, passionate about evolving data technologies and techniques. --- **How to Apply:** Interested candidates should submit their resume, along with a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and skills, to [Insert application email or link].
