The DataOps Developer Intern will be responsible for contributing to the development of data pipelines using Python and Airflow. Click [here](https://www.geotab.com/blog/first-week/) to learn more! - Learn more about the Geotab Campus Program [here](https://www.geotab.com/blog/geotab-campus-program/). - This posting is for an existing vacancy. # How you'll make an impact: - Perform software development and support of Airflow pipelines in Python, using SQL - Understand the performance impact of the code, API use, and scalability. - Actively participate in design discussions and document requirements and technical design. - Perform quality assurance analysis by ensuring coding standards are followed, looking for logic errors, and other bugs. - Analyze log files and performance data to troubleshoot and identify root cause of bugs. # What you'll bring to the role: - Completing a Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. - Good experience with Python programming. - Hands-on experience with SQL and writing queries - Experience in Google BigQuery is nice to have. - Experience with Apache Airflow is nice to have. - Experience with database design and writing queries is nice to have. - Excellent knowledge of Advanced SQL working with large data sets. - Highly organized, willingness to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job.
