Mediclinic Limpopo Day Clinic | Polokwane | South Africa Closing date: 16/09/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Mokalabata Maakomane Reference number: 73238 Workplace Type: On-site Permanent Please note if you are an internal employee on a fixed term contract please apply using an external candidate profile and not your employee profile MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To manage the day-to-day operations of the Day Clinic and also enable the desired outcomes for the long-term sustainability of the business KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Oversee the financial and operational management of the day clinic Clinical Outcome Management Risk Management Quality Patient Care Relationship Management Client Orientation Lead and manage people REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Experienced Theatre Professional Nurse DESIRED EDUCATION: Qualified Theatre Professional Nurse REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years in a theatre environment DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years theatre management experience REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Funders of healthcare/managed healthcare Knowledge of clinical environment Health and safety principles Relevant legislative regulations Quality management principles Budgeting and financial planning/management principles Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management Healthcare industry Functions and processes within a private hospital environment; and how disciplines interact with each other Patient experience principles All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
