Oneida,NY - USA Position Requirements Part-Time Day-Doc Anesthesiologist opportunity in Oneida, NY! Description Oneida Health was founded in 1899 as a 4 bed hospital in the city of Oneida. There are 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho ENT, L&D and other specialties. Awards Healthgrades 2019 Patient Safety Excellence Award Healthgrades 2019 Outstanding Patient Experience Award Case Assignments Main OR cases include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo and OB. OB experience is required. Shifts - Monday-Thursday, 7am to 5pm daytime position at 40 hours per week (0.8 FTE) - No call, no weekends, no holidays Team Leadership Dr. Casey Tymko, Chief Anesthesiologist Team Highlights Care team model Requirements Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a physician Lifestyle Oneida is located within an easy drive of Syracuse.
