DBA SQL

Job description

We are looking for a DBA to assist a client with database optimization and stability, with a focus on the Ticket and FIT applications. These databases experience high spikes in usage, especially at the end of the month, which can cause slowdowns or outages with a significant impact on the business. The goal is to ensure performance, availability, and operational continuity. Key responsibilities: Monitor and optimize database performance Respond to peak load scenarios and critical incidents Prevent failures and minimize business impact Monitor and optimize database performance Address incidents of slow performance or outages, especially during peak times Analyze and improve queries and indexes Ensure backups, restores, and service continuity Support application teams in maintaining solution stability Experience as an SQL DBA in production environments Strong knowledge of SQL Server (performance, indexes, and queries) Experience monitoring and resolving performance issues Knowledge of database backup, restore, and maintenance Experience in high-availability environments or with critical systems (preferred) Inetum is a global leader in IT services, dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our clients.
