SPAR Convent Road Abbeyfeale, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, V94CX7K require a full time Deli Assistant to join their amazing team. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Assistant to join our team. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department. The Role: Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads Assist customers in selecting products, providing recommendations, and fulfilling orders Maintain a clean and organized deli counter, ensuring all products are properly displayed and labeled Receive deliveries, check product quality, and ensure proper storage of items Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and ovens in a safe and efficient manner Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers Assist in managing inventory levels, rotating products, and minimising waste Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required.
