Deli Assistant - Full Time EUROSPAR Castlecomer is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Full-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help deliver an excellent shopping experience by providing high-quality food products, outstanding customer service, and maintaining high standards throughout the deli department. Prepare and serve deli products in accordance with food safety and company standards Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product queries Ensure food is presented attractively and displayed to a high standard Monitor product quality, freshness, and stock levels Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the deli area Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations at all times Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department Previous experience in a deli, food service, retail, or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is an advantage Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
