Job description

The Demi Chef (Pastry) plays a key supporting role in delivering refined pastry and dessert offerings within a luxury kitchen environment. This position assists the Chef de Partie in daily pastry operations, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene while contributing to smooth kitchen workflow. Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and confectionery items Support daily operations of the pastry section under the guidance of the Chef de Partie Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation according to company standards Participate in menu preparation, mise en place, and seasonal menu execution Follow recipes, portion control, and plating standards accurately Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in line with HACCP regulations Assist in proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients and equipment Help control food wastage and support basic stock rotation (FIFO) Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and smooth service Support and cooperate with commis chefs and kitchen colleagues as required Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry (preferred) 1–3 years of experience in a pastry or bakery section, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining environment Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Good time management and attention to detail Competitive salary package Professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for growth within a reputed international brand Interested candidates may also send their updated CV to WhatsApp: +966 55 532 2519 Work Force is a leading sourcing and recruitment firm, dedicated to delivering exceptional talent solutions to top-tier hospitality and restaurant groups across Saudi Arabia.
