Role OverviewThe Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. The role ensures high levels of kitchen hygiene, assists with inventory control, and contributes to the supervision and training of junior kitchen team members, supporting smooth and efficient kitchen operations. Key AccountabilitiesPrepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.Support the Chef de Partie in supervising and training Commis Chefs, providing guidance on preparation techniques and daily tasks.Ensure all food items meet quality standards and are presented in line with menu specifications.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of assigned workstations at all times.Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the Chef de Partie or kitchen management.Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Work efficiently and in a timely manner to support smooth kitchen operations during service periods.Assist with the proper organization, storage, and labeling of food products in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.RequirementsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality environment.Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.Working knowledge of the English language. Role Overview
The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
