NOW HIRING | MITIGATION TECHNICIAN 📍 Pocatello, ID 💰 $18–$25/hour | Based on Experience ⏰ Full-Time | Rotating On-Call Schedule 🚨 Start ASAP Make a Difference When People Need It Most When a home or business is damaged by water, fire, smoke, or other disasters, people need help quickly. As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration , you’ll be part of the team that responds, assesses the damage, and gets the restoration process moving. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, staying active, and helping people through difficult situations. What You'll Be Doing Respond to emergency property damage situations Perform water extraction and structural drying Complete demolition and cleanup when needed Take moisture readings and document job progress Assist with fire, smoke, and odor cleanup Assist with mold remediation Clean and restore contents, carpet, and upholstery Board up and secure damaged properties Communicate with customers and provide professional service Maintain equipment, vehicles, and job sites Follow safety procedures and company standards Participate in a rotating on-call schedule What We're Looking For The right person doesn’t necessarily need years of restoration experience. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work. You'll Need: High school diploma or GED Construction, restoration, or other hands-on experience is a plus IICRC certification is a plus, but we can help the right candidate obtain certifications Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in various environments, including tight spaces Valid driver's license and good driving record Good communication and customer service skills Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone skills Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
