ABOUT THE ROLE Savvital is looking for an experienced Dental Associate to provide remote insurance and administrative support to a US-based dental practice. The role will focus on insurance verification, patient insurance management, claims follow-up, patient communication, and dental practice administration , with additional responsibility for social media content and marketing support. Key Responsibilities Insurance Verification & Patient Records Verify dental and medical insurance eligibility, benefits, deductibles, waiting periods, limitations, and coverage by phone and through carrier portals. Review insurance information ahead of scheduled appointments and identify potential coverage issues. Enter and maintain accurate insurance information in Dentrix . Review upcoming appointments for inactive or outdated insurance. Contact patients proactively to obtain updated insurance information. Claims & Insurance Follow-Up Follow up with insurance companies regarding delayed, returned, denied, or unresolved claims. Contact insurance representatives to determine claim status, reasons for delays or denials, and required next steps. Research benefits, coverage requirements, and claim information through insurance portals and carrier resources. Communicate relevant findings and updates to the in-office team. Patient & Administrative Support Communicate professionally with patients regarding insurance information and coverage-related issues. Maintain accurate and organized patient records. Support the practice in resolving insurance issues before they impact appointments or treatment. Coordinate administrative tasks and follow-ups to help maintain an efficient practice workflow. Social Media & Marketing Create social media content and promotional graphics for the dental practice. Develop content for holidays, staff birthdays, dental awareness campaigns, new patient outreach, and general practice promotions. Design professional graphics using Canva while maintaining the practice's branding and messaging. Use ChatGPT to assist with content ideas, captions, marketing copy, and creative concepts. Required Qualifications Hands-on Dentrix experience — NICE TO HAVE Experience with dental insurance verification and benefits research. Working knowledge of dental and medical insurance. Experience with insurance claims follow-up and issue resolution. Strong data entry and record-keeping accuracy. Experience communicating with insurance representatives and patients. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Experience with Canva and social media content creation. Software & Tools Dentrix: Patient records and insurance management GoTo: Insurance verification and claims-related calls Insurance Carrier Portals: Eligibility, benefits, coverage, and claims research Canva: Social media and promotional graphics ChatGPT: Content development and marketing support Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable communicating directly with both patients and insurance representatives . They should be able to manage insurance-related tasks independently, identify issues before they affect appointments, and maintain accurate patient records with minimal supervision. Work Timings: This is a Full-time role with US Hours' Shift. Specific hours will be determined based on business needs. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base Salary: Market Competitive.
