Deployment Strategist, El Salvador

Job description

We live in a world where technology is rapidly changing the educational experiences of students and teachers everywhere, and we have the opportunity to shape how this change takes place. Kira’s mission is to harness transformative AI technologies to make world-class personalized teaching and learning accessible to everyone. We are a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier Venture Capital funds including New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Andrew Ng’s AI Fund, and Primavera. Kira is powering one of the largest national AI-in-education deployments in the world. In partnership with the Government of El Salvador (GoES), we’re scaling across 800+ schools and expanding what Kira does: new subjects, adaptive assessments, personalized content, and new tools. As our Deployment Strategist, reporting to our General Manager for Latin America, you’ll be the bridge between Kira’s product and the people using it in El Salvador. You’ll bring new features to life for the GoES team, train users, run tools through their paces before they launch, and turn what you hear in the field into clear direction for our Product team. Priorities shift week to week, so this role is for someone who thinks fast, juggles a lot at once, and brings order to ambiguity. As the rollout grows, so does the role: we’re looking for someone ready to grow with it and to keep things running smoothly when the GM is away. **What You’ll Do** - Learn Kira’s platform and the El Salvador deployment inside out, becoming the go-to expert on how Kira works for every type of user - Demo new features to the GoES team ahead of release, and lead trainings for both new users and existing users on new functionality - Test new tools before launch and give product managers structured, actionable feedback - Own the flow of feature requests from GoES teams (education, content, IT, evaluations, and others): gather them, prioritize them, and communicate them clearly to Product - Visit schools to collect feedback from teachers, tutors, and principals, and turn what you learn into product insight - Translate and adapt product documentation and resources for Spanish-speaking stakeholders - Partner with the GM on pilots and the rollout of new tools and use cases, and step in to keep the deployment on track when the GM is out - Present confidently to audiences from tutors to government team leads **Your Impact** Within 6–12 months: - GoES teams adopt new features quickly because they were trained well and brought along early - Product gets a clear, prioritized, well-documented stream of feedback and feature requests from El Salvador - New tools and pilots launch smoothly, with problems caught in testing rather than in the field - The GM can step away for a day or a week, confident the deployment is in good hands - You’ve grown with the role and taken on more strategic ownership as the rollout scales **What We’re Looking For** - Fluent in Spanish and English - 4+ years of experience in consulting, product, or customer-facing roles at an AI or SaaS company - Strong presenter and facilitator who can make new features click for a room of non-technical users - Analytical, structured problem-solver who thinks quickly and acts strategically - Able to juggle many workstreams at once and reprioritize on the fly without dropping balls - Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change, and energized by building in a rollout that’s still taking shape - Technically curious and quick to learn new products. No engineering background needed, but you’re comfortable testing tools and explaining issues clearly to product and engineering teams - Ideally based in El Salvador. Candidates based elsewhere in Latin America will be considered, with regular travel to San Salvador **What We Offer** - Competitive compensation and equity - Employment through Deel, our Employer of Record, with all statutory benefits required under local law ***Equal Employment Opportunity Employer** Kira believes that diversity and inclusion among our employees are critical to our success as a company, and we seek to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool. Selection for employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need.* *At Kira, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.* ***Background Check** Kira will make a conditional job offer in line with local, state and federal laws, and a subsequent criminal, education, and employment history background check will then be issued.*
