Job description
**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dermatologist (AI Evaluation) based in India.** This is a specialized opportunity for experienced dermatologists to contribute their clinical expertise to the development and improvement of advanced AI systems in healthcare. You will evaluate dermatology images and AI-generated clinical content through a medical and diagnostic lens. Your expertise will help determine whether images are suitable for clinical interpretation and whether AI-generated outputs meet professional standards. You will assess diagnoses, treatment recommendations, clinical reasoning, and case summaries for accuracy, completeness, and patient safety. The role offers the opportunity to apply real-world dermatology knowledge to emerging healthcare technology. You will work remotely through structured online evaluation and annotation tools. This is a focused **4-week contractor assignment**, with the flexibility to contribute up to 40 hours per week. ### Accountabilities: - Review dermatology images to determine their quality, clarity, and suitability for diagnostic evaluation. - Identify visual issues that may affect clinical interpretation, including blur, lighting, exposure, color accuracy, framing, and image composition. - Assess likely dermatological conditions when required and provide appropriate confidence ratings. - Document clear, clinically grounded reasoning supporting evaluations and diagnostic assessments. - Review AI-generated dermatology content, including diagnoses, treatment plans, clinical summaries, and reasoning. - Identify medically inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or potentially unsafe AI-generated outputs. - Apply evidence-based dermatology standards consistently when evaluating AI responses and clinical recommendations. - Complete structured assessments using online annotation and evaluation platforms. - Provide detailed expert feedback that can help improve the medical accuracy, reliability, and safety of AI-generated healthcare content. ### Requirements - MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification. - Successfully completed a dermatology residency or equivalent specialist training. - Minimum **5 years of post-residency professional experience in dermatology**. - Currently based in **India**. - Strong clinical knowledge across dermatological conditions, diagnosis, treatment, and clinical decision-making. - Ability to critically evaluate medical information and identify inaccuracies, omissions, inconsistencies, and potential safety concerns. - Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing medical images and AI-generated clinical content. - Ability to provide concise, evidence-based explanations and clear clinical rationale. - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and completing structured digital evaluation tasks. - Strong written communication skills and the ability to apply clinical judgment consistently across multiple cases. ### Benefits - Fully remote contractor opportunity available to dermatologists based in India. - **4-week assignment** with an hourly engagement of up to **40 hours per week**. - Opportunity to apply specialist dermatology expertise to the evaluation and improvement of emerging AI healthcare technologies. - Flexible remote working environment. - Exposure to innovative AI evaluation methodologies and structured clinical annotation workflows. - Opportunity to contribute directly to improving the accuracy, reliability, and safety of AI-generated medical content. - Compensation and any applicable contractor benefits are provided according to the engagement terms.
