Dermatology Clinician

Job description

Deliver safe, evidence-based community dermatology: assess, diagnose and treat referred patients, and perform procedures and minor surgery within the clinician’s scope. Every role contributes to governance, audit, quality improvement, teaching and service development, and maintains high standards of documentation, patient communication and multidisciplinary working. Seniority sets the scope of autonomy, complexity and leadership (see Role-specific scope). **Roles covered** - Dermatology GPwER - Specialist Dermatologist - Consultant Dermatologist - Minor Surgery Clinician (CNS) **Reports to** - Dermatology Clinical Lead / Service Manager (doctors); Dermatology Lead Nurse / Service Manager (CNS); Consultants may report to the Medical Director **Works with:** - Dermatologists, GPwERs, nurses and CNSs (including phototherapy and patch testing), HCAs and administrative teams **Location:** - Multi-site across North Lincolnshire; own transport required **Hours** - Some flexibility may be needed to meet patient and service demand **Relocation** - Not routinely offered; can be discussed at offer stage
