Job description
**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Full Stack Java based in Brazil.** This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and evolving complex enterprise applications across the full technology stack. You will work across backend, frontend, databases, APIs, and integrations to deliver robust end-to-end solutions. The position combines Java development with modern frameworks, web technologies, automated testing, and cloud-native practices. You will contribute to application architecture, performance, security, scalability, and continuous improvement. The role involves working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams and participating in CI/CD and automated deployment initiatives. You will also work with containerization and orchestration technologies to support reliable application delivery. This opportunity is suited to a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building scalable digital solutions. ### Accountabilities: - Develop, maintain, and evolve complex enterprise systems and applications. - Design and implement end-to-end solutions covering backend, frontend, databases, and integrations. - Design, code, and maintain applications following object-oriented development principles and established engineering best practices. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application and system interoperability. - Design, manage, and evolve relational databases according to application requirements. - Develop database queries and support data modeling and manipulation using SQL. - Implement automated tests and contribute to software quality assurance processes. - Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) initiatives. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within Agile development environments. - Support application deployment processes using containerization and orchestration technologies. - Work with Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes as part of application delivery and deployment workflows. - Contribute to application security, performance, scalability, and reliability. - Participate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvements in development practices. - Support the evolution of application architecture and integrations as business and technical needs change. - Apply version control and collaborative development practices throughout the software lifecycle. ### Requirements: - Degree in Information Technology or a degree in any field combined with a postgraduate qualification in IT. - Professional experience developing applications with Java. - Experience working with the Apache Wicket framework. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and development principles. - Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, and Maven. - Frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Experience with Angular and Bootstrap. - Familiarity with Node.js and NPM. - Knowledge of web standards, HTTP, REST, JAX-RS, and API management. - Experience implementing automated testing practices and technologies. - Experience with Git and Gitflow for source code versioning and collaborative development. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. - Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban. - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. - Experience with data and application modeling using UML and Entity-Relationship Models (ERM). - Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and Agile environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to software quality. - Ability to contribute proactively to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives. ### Benefits: - Opportunities to work with complex enterprise technology environments. - Exposure to full-stack development across backend, frontend, databases, APIs, and integrations. - Opportunities to work with modern development, CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration technologies. - Agile and multidisciplinary working environment. - Professional development through challenging technology projects. - Inclusive workplace with equal opportunities for professionals with disabilities and across gender and race/ethnicity. - Culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.
