Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Especialista | FullStack (Java/React) based in Brazil.** This is a senior-level FullStack engineering role focused on building and continuously improving scalable web applications. You will work primarily across Java and modern front-end technologies, contributing to both application performance and overall engineering quality. The position combines hands-on development with strong technical leadership, making you a reference point for architecture, code quality, testing, and complex problem solving. You will collaborate closely with SRE, Platform, and DevOps teams to support reliable CI/CD practices and efficient cloud-based delivery. A key part of the role is helping the team adopt engineering best practices, improve existing code, and make thoughtful architectural decisions. You will operate in a dynamic environment that values technical excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants meaningful technical ownership and influence across the development lifecycle. ### Accountabilities: - **Optimize application performance and scalability:** Contribute to improving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based applications, identifying opportunities for technical and architectural improvements. - **Support CI/CD and cloud delivery:** Collaborate with SRE, Platform, and DevOps teams to strengthen continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and ensure efficient software delivery. - **Champion code quality:** Act as a technical reference for code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and development practices that improve maintainability and reliability. - **Solve complex technical challenges:** Lead the investigation and resolution of sophisticated software engineering problems while continuously improving existing systems and codebases. - **Provide technical leadership:** Serve as a technical reference for other team members, supporting engineering decisions, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of effective development practices. - **Promote engineering best practices:** Help define, communicate, and implement standards around architecture, testing, development methodologies, and overall software quality. ### Requirements - **Professional experience:** At least 5 years of experience developing software systems, with strong experience building web applications and working in cloud environments, particularly AWS. - **Java expertise:** Advanced proficiency with Java, including experience working with Java 8, 11, 17, and 21, as well as strong knowledge of debugging, profiling, and performance optimization. - **FullStack development:** Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Redux, Material UI, Styled Components, and modern web application development practices covering both design and implementation. - **Automated testing:** Hands-on experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Enzyme, and React Testing Library, together with strong knowledge of unit and integration testing. - **Software engineering practices:** Solid understanding of functional programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, browser-based testing and debugging, and modern development methodologies. - **Cloud and architecture:** Experience developing applications on AWS and the ability to contribute to architectural discussions, evaluate technical alternatives, and recommend effective engineering solutions. - **Technical leadership:** Demonstrated ability to act as a technical leader within a development team, guide peers, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering standards and best practices. - **Analytical and problem-solving skills:** Strong analytical capabilities, attention to technical detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment. - **Collaboration and communication:** Ability to work effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and contribute constructively to technical discussions and architectural decisions. ### Benefits - **Fully remote work:** Work remotely with flexibility in your day-to-day environment. - **Meal and food allowance:** Vale Refeição/Alimentação to support everyday expenses. - **Health insurance:** Health plan with 50% of the cost covered by the employer and 50% by the employee. - **Dental insurance:** Dental plan with 50% of the cost covered by the employer and 50% by the employee. - **Home office support:** Dedicated home office allowance. - **Birthday time off:** A day off during your birthday month. - **Extended parental leave:** Extended maternity and paternity leave programs. - **Wellness:** TotalPass access to gyms, sports, Pilates, martial arts, nutrition, and other wellness activities. - **Emotional well-being:** Access to emotional and psychological support platforms, including Psicologia Viva, Zenklub, and Vittude. - **Professional development:** Access to a professional training and development program, according to applicable policies. - **Health support:** Participation in a dedicated health support program.
