ABOUT YOUR ROLE: As part of the Global Materials Sourcing (GMS) Team, The Sourcing Developer of trims materials will support the GMS trims development & sourcing activities that services all Brands and product categories. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE : Manage trim development timelines in alignment with the go-to-market calendar, ensuring milestones are met with accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with suppliers and finished goods vendors to ensure timely and reliable delivery of trims for both development and production. Act as a key contact for development teams across brand and product supply, ensuring alignment on trim-related requirements and updates. Partner with VF Materials Labs, Sourcing, and Quality teams to support trim quality standards and assist in resolving issues during development and production. Support cost engineering efforts by collecting data, preparing supplier comparisons, and contributing to cost optimization strategies. Contribute to sustainability initiatives by identifying and evaluating eco-friendly trim options in collaboration with Innovation and Brand Development teams. Coordinate with global and local suppliers to ensure compliance with brand, manufacturing, and regulatory standards. Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and escalate issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of trim development activities, supplier communications, and testing results.
