DevOps Software Engineer

Job description

**About the job** TeamDynamix is searching for a mid-level DevOps Software Engineer (Remote) to join our Process Automation Team, where you will own the pipelines, Azure infrastructure, and release tooling that build, deploy, and operate our iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), CAI (Conversational Artificial Intelligence), and AI Agent products. The Process Automation Team works hard to ensure TeamDynamix achieves its goal of providing award-winning technology that is easy to use, own, and operate. This is a DevOps-first role. Most of your time will be spent designing and improving our CI/CD pipelines, managing and automating our Azure infrastructure, strengthening monitoring and observability, and making releases faster, safer, and more repeatable. Because you'll work closely with our codebase, you'll also have the C# skills to step in when the fix belongs in the application, whether that means improving performance, removing a release bottleneck, or making the product easier to deploy and operate. If you enjoy owning the path from a commit to a healthy production deployment, and want the freedom to fix the code when the code is the problem, this is the seat for you. You should have a passion for building reliable, best-in-class platforms and software that, above all else, solve customers' problems. Our engineers find satisfaction in building things that customers need, and enjoy using, to achieve their mission. This role is open to Remote-US candidates. While we have an office in Columbus, Ohio, we remain 100% remote first as a company. **Responsibilities** - Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps that compile, test, and release our products. - Manage and execute deployments through Octopus Deploy across development, test, staging, and production environments. - Deploy and configure the Azure components our platform runs on, and keep those environments consistent and documented. - Write and modify C# code to improve application performance and to make the product easier, faster, and safer to deploy. - Find and address performance issues across the application, database, and infrastructure. - Improve observability - logging, metrics, and alerting - so issues surface before customers report them. - Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack, from code to pipeline to infrastructure. - Perform thorough code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues. - Work with engineering and product managers to understand roadmap priorities and plan release work around them. **Requirements** - 4-year degree in STEM, or equivalent experience - 3-6 years of related experience - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including authoring build and release pipelines and day-to-day work in Git - Experience deploying and configuring Azure components through the Azure Portal - Experience managing application deployments with a release management tool such as Octopus Deploy - Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively - Experience developing with C# and working with SQL Server - Strong ability to solve complex problems without a detailed roadmap using a logical, analytical, and creative approach **Other Tools & Technologies** - Azure DevOps - Pipelines and Git - Azure Portal - deployment and configuration of Azure components - Octopus Deploy - SQL Server - C# and .NET - Familiarity with Kubernetes - Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience is a bonus - Familiarity with Datadog, or a comparable monitoring and observability platform, is a plus - REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman - PowerShell or comparable scripting for build and deployment automation **What We Offer** - Competitive compensation that reflects employees’ skills and contributions. - Comprehensive health insurance plans. - Wellness programs that promote physical and mental well-being. - Traditional and Roth 401(k) savings options with company match. - Remote-first with flexible working hours. - Prioritized work-life balance, with 15 observed days off in addition to PTO. - Family-friendly policies including paid parental leave. - Paid life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability insurance. - Regular acknowledgement of achievements with recognition programs. - Counseling services and resources for personal and professional challenges. - Transparent communication about company goals, strategy, and performance. - Regular feedback sessions and performance reviews. - Anti-bias and anti-harassment training programs. - Trust and autonomy in decision-making within your role. - Work environment that encourages you to be your authentic self. - Flat management structure with approachable leaders who want to hear your feedback. - Backed by two private equity firms that invest in high-growth private companies across North America. **Diversity** At TeamDynamix, our goal is to create a remote environment which celebrates the differences that make us, us.
