This position is governed by state and federal law and agency policy. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree Plus Graduate from a 2-year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Licensed or eligible for license by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology ​ Preferred Qualifications: CPR certified Additional Information: Responsibilities: Operates and positions radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes and according to exam specifications, following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by escorting patients to x-ray rooms, providing verbal instructions, and assisting patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed; explains procedures and observes patients to ensure patient care, safety and comfort during scan. Serves as a back-up for clinical team members, as needed, by controlling patient flow and triaging. Maintains working order of radiologic equipment including reporting equipment malfunctions and scheduling regular maintenance. Reviews patient records and imports external images into the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). Performs other duties as assigned.
