We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Director of DevOps** to lead our DevOps strategy, drive automation, and optimize software delivery pipelines. As the Director of DevOps, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, site reliability, security, and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices and ensure a seamless, scalable, and resilient DevOps culture. ### Key Responsibilities - Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the company's **DevOps roadmap**, ensuring alignment with business and engineering goals. Lead and mentor a team of **DevOps engineers, SREs, and automation specialists**. Drive a **culture of automation, continuous improvement, and collaboration** across development and operations teams. - Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Design, implement, and manage **scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure** (AWS, Azure, GCP).Oversee **containerization and orchestration** (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).Establish **infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices** using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. - CI/CD & Automation: Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** to support rapid, reliable software releases (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).Drive **automation for deployment, monitoring, and self-healing systems**. Implement **observability and logging solutions** (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). - Security & Compliance: Ensure **DevSecOps principles** are integrated into the software development lifecycle. Implement **security best practices**, including IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).Maintain **compliance with industry standards** (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR etc.). - Performance & Reliability: Define **SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs** for system reliability and uptime.
