Director of Media & Events

Job description

The **Director of Media & Events** is a highly visible, externally facing leader responsible for elevating Summit K12’s brand through strategic events, media, partnerships, and industry relationships. This person will lead our Media & Events team while serving as a key representative of Summit K12 at conferences, media events, podcasts, and partner engagements. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of executive presence, relationship-building skills, business acumen, and hands-on media and events experience. They should be equally comfortable presenting or emceeing in front of a large audience, interviewing education leaders on camera, negotiating a sponsorship agreement, and leading a team through the successful execution of a major conference. Because this role regularly represents Summit K12 in partnerships, events, interviews, and engagements conducted in both English and Spanish, professional fluency in both languages is required. Experience within K–12 education or EdTech is also strongly preferred.
