Job description
### About Eucalyptus We're on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than 1 billion people live with obesity worldwide, driving preventable chronic conditions. We're here to build better long-term care. Eucalyptus is now part of Hims & Hers, the global leader in personalised health and wellness. Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times. ### Our Growth Story: - Supporting patients living with obesity across our 5 markets - Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS - Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada. ## About the role (What you'll be doing) We're looking for a Director of Product to lead **Insights** — the personalised health layer that turns each patient's data into visible progress, progress into insight, and insight into the next action. This is one of the most strategically important problem spaces at Juniper, and we're looking for someone to define what it becomes over the next several years. Weight-loss medications are the biggest shift in metabolic health care this generation has seen. But the support around the medication dictates whether our patients lose the weight in a healthy manner and are able to keep the weight off. Our high-touch, proactive support model is the key reason why Juniper has become a market leader, and **Insights** is the core engine that powers it — getting our patients the right insight, the right intervention, at exactly the right moment. We believe we're still early on what's possible here. As Director of Product, you'll set the vision and strategy for Insights across Juniper and our brands, and you'll be accountable for the engagement, retention and patient-outcome metrics that flow from it. This includes shaping the features that help us better understand our patients — including weight tracking, body composition tracking, progress photos, nutrition tracking, sleep and more. You'll manage and grow a high-performing product team (partnering closely with a Senior PM), set the bar for product craft across the org, and act as a product leader for our Australian hub. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Chief Commercial Officer, clinical leadership, design, data science and engineering to shape and deliver ambitious bets. The rewards for getting this right are meaningful. You'll see the results of your work reflected in the lives of the patients we change — replicated on a global scale. ## Key Responsibilities - **Set the Vision & Multi-Year Strategy:** Working with the Chief Commercial Officer, own the strategy for the vision of the Insights that power our patient’s proactive care. Set the direction and define the bets we make, and what we choose not to do. - **Execute Quickly, Deliver Globally:** Take products from idea to impact and ship them to patients across every market Juniper operates in. You'll own delivery end-to-end and stay close to the craft - **Lead & Grow the Team:** This role includes managing people — you'll manage, coach and grow product managers on the Insights team, raise the bar on hiring, set the standard for craft, and act as a force multiplier on every PM around you, not just your own pod. - **Own Company-Level Outcomes:** Be accountable for engagement, retention and patient-outcome metrics that show up at the company-OKR and P&L level. Make the prioritisation and trade-off calls, collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders to achieve outcomes. - **Develop Insight the Org Doesn't Have Yet:** Spot non-obvious shifts in patient behaviour, market structure or regulation, and reframe how we think about the problem space. Your reads on the market should become inputs to company strategy, not just product roadmaps. ## About you You bring **8+ years of experience in** **product management,** with a track record of shipping products that moved real user and commercial outcomes. You’re a high-agency leader who spikes on the following qualities: - **First-principles problem solver —** You break the most ambiguous, undefined problems down, build a clear and focused strategy, and take ideas from zero to impact while applying sharp judgement on trade-offs along the way. - **Commercial & analytical rigour —** You're laser-focused on outcomes you can measure. You interpret both quantitative and qualitative signal, you connect product to P&L, and you won't mistake motion for progress. - **Product sense & taste —** You have a real instinct and empathy for what makes a person *feel* something. You can tell the difference between a feature that "works" and one that lands, and you set the bar for what feels delightful, trustworthy and easy to use. - **Ownership and comfort with ambiguity —** You're energised by ambiguous, high-impact, first-of-their-kind problems, and you've got a track record of setting direction and leading through uncertainty. - **Influence without authority —** You build credibility and follower-ship across teams, stakeholders and leadership — earned through the consistency and quality of your judgement, your storytelling, and long-term relationships. - **Leadership —** You make the people and teams around you better. You set craft standards and create an environment where people have each other's backs and raise their game ## **Why join Eucalyptus?** Euc is also behind a growing family of digital healthcare clinics ([Pilot,](https://pilot.com.au/) [Kin](http://www.kinfertility.com.au/), [Software](http://skin.software/), [Compound](https://www.compound.co/)) across men’s health and well-being, fertility, skincare, and preventative health. **Here’s what makes joining Euc unique:** - **What’s next** - Our goal for the next three years is to support **1 million patients globally** to live better for longer. We’re launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we build a truly preventive healthcare ecosystem. - **Build something world-changing** - We’re on the path to becoming the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. It will be challenging, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding. - **Make real impact** - You will deliver work that directly shapes patient outcomes and scales evidence-based care across markets. - **Accelerate your growth** - You will have high ownership, continuous feedback, and dedicated development support. - **Join a motivated team** - You will collaborate with talented peers to solve complex clinical and operational problems at scale. ## What’s ahead in Australia? - **Grow with us globally -** Get mentorship from leaders across Australia, the UK, Germany, and Japan, collaborate with teams in the Philippines and South Africa, and explore new markets or travel internationally. \*\*\*\*Recognised on [Hatch’s Hotlist](https://www.hatch.team/companies/eucalyptus) as one of Australia’s top employers, we support early-career professionals to become future global leaders. - **Shape your career -** Access learning budgets, conferences, certifications, peer shadowing, and a global knowledge-sharing culture. - **Work where well-being matters -** Experience catered wellness talks, exercise classes, free barista coffees, funded social clubs, and quarterly rooftop parties. - **Innovate with purpose -** Use state-of-the-art tools and contribute to bold, impactful solutions in healthcare. - **Support at every stage -** Benefit from parental and miscarriage leave, to health, professional development, and personal days, and our Employee Assistance Program. *At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we embrace the unique qualities each person brings.
