Director of Product Marketing - Hybrid - up to $200,000 + Bonus

Job description

### In a world of noise, we find the signal — the pulse of potential. We weave the strands of talent, vision, and purpose into organizations that endure. Blending intelligence with intuition, we honor the human art of connection at the heart of every great company. **About the Job** We are partnered with a global consumer electronics and technology company on the search for its next Director of Global Product Marketing. This is a senior marketing leadership role responsible for defining global product marketing strategy and overseeing the investment, prioritization, and execution of go-to-market initiatives across the portfolio. This leader will own the global product narrative, launch strategy, and product marketing investment model, ensuring marketing resources are deployed against the highest-impact opportunities. This role operates at a portfolio level: strategy and budget oversight are centralized, while execution is decentralized across regions. The leader will partner closely with Product Management, Brand & Creative, Growth/Revenue, Marketing Operations, and regional commercial leaders to ensure every launch is clear, differentiated, and commercially effective. --- **The Mandate** This organization is clear about what it is—and is not—seeking. They are not looking for a tactical marketer focused solely on campaign execution, or a narrative-only brand storyteller disconnected from investment discipline. They are seeking a strategic operator: a product marketing leader who can centralize strategy and governance while enabling strong regional execution, translate consumer and competitive insight into differentiated positioning, and hold launch investment accountable to ROI. --- **Key Responsibilities** - Define and own the global product marketing strategy across the product portfolio - Establish governance models that ensure consistency, clarity, and disciplined decision-making - Serve as the executive owner of global product narratives and messaging architecture - Own the global go-to-market framework for new product introductions and major line extensions - Provide senior-level oversight of product launch budgets - Partner with Growth/Revenue and Brand teams to ensure launch investments align to consumer journeys - Review and approve launch plans to ensure appropriate scale and ROI - Translate consumer and competitive insights into differentiated positioning - Ensure product value propositions balance emotional and functional benefits - Act as a senior strategic partner to Product, Brand, Growth, and Regional teams - Maintain dotted-line alignment into regional commercial leadership - Build and lead a senior global product marketing organization - Establish scalable processes and clear ownership - Define and oversee KPIs and OKRs for product launches - Evaluate product launch performance against investment and outcomes --- **Ideal Profile** - 12+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a global technology or consumer electronics manufacturing environment - Experience owning or governing product launch budgets - Strong understanding of eCommerce, including Amazon - Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders - Experience building and leading senior teams --- **Location & Work Model** - El Segundo, CA / Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid work model with regular in-office collaboration and travel as needed --- **Compensation** - Base salary: $160,000 - $175,000 - Bonus: Performance-based, aligned with level and experience Base Compensation Range $175,000—$200,000 USD **Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination Statement** Signal and Strand is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We—and our clients—do not discriminate in employment or contracting on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, registered domestic partner status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
