Eliot is looking for a Director of Urgent Care to lead services within our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) Urgent Care team.

The ideal candidate for the Director of Urgent Care is a licensed behavioral health professional with substantial supervisory experience in crisis services. They will bring strong clinical leadership, a deep understanding of mental health systems and services, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering strengths-based, community-oriented care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, crisis management, and system coordination skills to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical guidance and support in developing interventions and supervision of team members. Provide direct supervision to staff both in the office and in the field.
Provide supervision to staff on clinical interventions, strength-based strategies and ensure services are culturally competent for individuals served.
Ensure that the individual is at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with individual preferences.
Complete all required assessments, complete crisis plans and coordinate aspects of individual’s admission according to agency procedures.
Work alongside the Director of MCI and Director Youth Programming to ensure evaluations, safety and treatment plans and assessments are completed and thorough.
Provide interventions to individuals as stated by their current treatment plan or in response to the daily needs of individuals per supervisory direction and/or through the Team Huddle process.

Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree in social work or counseling, with corresponding independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC)
Four years of clinical experience, minimum 2 in a supervisory role.
Three years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Annual Salary

$85,000—$90,000 USD
