Full-time, 100% remote within the continental USA. We can't hire outside the USA for this role, and Rasa does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. ### **ABOUT THIS ROLE** We're a startup, so you'll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves. This is a critical seat on our leadership team. We need someone who can shape strategy at the ELT table and still personally run a complex employee relations case or a technical search. You'll: - Advise the CEO and ELT on org design, workforce planning and change management, and partner on company-wide people communications - Handle complex employee relations matters across multiple countries, including performance improvement plans, separations and terminations, working with outside counsel as needed - Own people operations: onboarding, leave administration, the HRIS (BambooHR), the PEO relationship (Sequoia One) and multi-country compliance - Run the performance and career framework cycle, including reviews, IC and manager career frameworks, and manager enablement - Drive engagement and retention through pulse surveys, ELT and manager action planning, and retention strategy for key talent - Partner with Finance on compensation benchmarking, headcount planning and people budgets, building people programs that are effective and cost-conscious - Lead hiring across the company, including executive searches, and own the recruiting process, tools (Ashby) and hiring-manager experience - Lead and develop the People Operations team ### **ABOUT YOU** - 8+ years in People Operations and/or Talent Acquisition, with 2+ years' experience leading both functions at a global start-up - Hands-on technical recruiting experience, including senior and executive hires - Experience supporting a global, distributed workforce, ideally including US multi-state and UK/EU employment practices - A track record of handling sensitive employee relations and separations with sound judgment and discretion - Comfortable working at both the strategic and tactical level, as an ELT member and a hands-on operator - Proficiency with modern people tools such as an ATS (Ashby), an HRIS (Bamboo) and a PEO (Sequoia One) *Please keep in mind that we are describing the background that would best fit the role. Even if you don’t meet all the requirements, yet you are confident that you are up for the task, we absolutely want to get to know you!* ### **MEET YOUR TEAM** You'll lead the People Operations team: a Manager, People Operations based in Germany, who in turn leads a People Operations Specialist, based in Serbia. We don't have a dedicated recruiter today, so you'll run recruiting hands-on and build out Talent Acquisition as the company scales. People Operations sits within G&A, alongside Finance (3), RevOps (2) and an Operations Manager who works closely with your team on onboarding, offboarding and security. G&A is distributed across the US and Europe. ### **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US** - Flexible hours and a dedicated remote budget - A stipend for professional development & 6 paid education days to help you grow within your role - Unlimited PTO + paid sick leave + paid public holidays - A Macbook, and other tech to help you do your job - We have regular remote team events, as well as an annual company-wide offsite - Health benefits through Sequoia One - 401(k) contribution with up to 4% match - Equity options You can find more information about our benefits per location here: [**Rasa Perks & Benefits**](https://rasa.notion.site/Rasa-Benefits-Perks-5bf7e7e5380240bf9aa5bb6ae488aec9) ### **ABOUT US** Rasa is the agent building platform for AI product teams, enabling engineers and business teams to build, test, and ship agents together at speed.
