As the Director of Product Management, you will champion the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation enterprise products for Capital One Software. You will be building high-scale, mission-critical business platforms designed to solve the complex data, cloud, and operational challenges faced by today’s modern enterprise financial institutions. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability Strategic; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: They should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business Solid people leadership experience: Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise. Previous consulting experience is a plus Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field and 5 years of Product Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech sectors 1+ years of experience in Management Consulting 10+ years of experience in Product Management in Data Management or Data Protection Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale enterprise B2B software or platforms At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Remote (Regardless of Location): $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
