### Expectations: - Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. - Interacts professionally with other employees and customers. - Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. - Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. - Communicates regularly with supervisor about Department issues. ### Responsibilities - Attaches identifying tags to material to ensure material traceability. - Reads work orders or receives oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. - Moves steel or other materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, cranes, or other equipment. - Sorts cargo before loading and unloading. - Carries needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and returns them after use. - Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. - Visually inspects incoming material for damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
