DoD SkillBridge Heavy Equipment Service Technician* _ National Field Service

*Please note: This is a military transitional program that does not provide compensation through Komatsu. You must be a current military Service Member eligible for the DOD SkillBridge program. Interns will receive training servicing electric drive trucks and/or electric shovels and will be evaluated for nationwide full-time positions. Service Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Komatsu construction/mining equipment, including electric drive trucks, electric shovels, and excavators. Interns will receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining and welding as part of the on-the-job training portion of their internship. Komatsu will consider any active duty member that is eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program however, Service Members with maintenance and/or skilled trades (electrician, machinist, welder) job experience are preferred. Job Overview Through the SkillBridge Service Technician program, Komatsu is assessing interns for the following potential nationwide full-time positions: Service Technicians Instrumentation & Control Technicians Electricians Machinists Welders Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval.
