Overview 20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Recruitment & Candidate Screening Virtual Assistant to support an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) with their hiring operations. The primary focus of this role is to improve the client's candidate processing workflow by managing inbound applicants, screening candidates against job requirements, validating qualifications, and scheduling interviews with qualified applicants. The client is currently experiencing gaps in the recruitment process, where important screening details and candidate expectations are not always being addressed before moving candidates forward. The ideal candidate will help create a more efficient hiring process by ensuring candidates are properly evaluated and informed before interviews and onboarding. This role is ideal for someone with experience in recruitment coordination, applicant screening, staffing support, HR administration, or high-volume hiring environments. Previous Amazon DSP experience is not required; however, the candidate should be comfortable reviewing requirements, communicating with applicants, and following structured recruitment processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the client's team to improve hiring efficiency, maintain accurate candidate records, and ensure qualified applicants move smoothly through the interview process. The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor. Scope of Services Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks: Candidate Screening & Qualification Manage inbound candidate applications from job boards such as Indeed and other approved recruitment platforms. Review applicant information and resumes to determine whether candidates meet required qualifications. Conduct initial candidate screening calls or communications. Validate candidate information, including: Work experience Availability Schedule expectations Transportation requirements Basic job qualifications Ability to meet company policies and expectations Ensure candidates understand important employment requirements before advancing in the hiring process. Communicate company expectations clearly, including policies such as no time off during the first 60 days of employment. Identify candidates who are a strong fit and remove unqualified applicants from the pipeline. Interview Scheduling & Coordination Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with the client's hiring team. Coordinate interview availability between candidates and internal stakeholders. Manage calendars and ensure interviews are properly scheduled. Send interview confirmations and reminders. Follow up with candidates regarding interview details and next steps. Maintain accurate records of candidate progress throughout the recruitment process. Recruitment Administration Maintain candidate tracking spreadsheets, applicant records, and recruitment databases. Update candidate statuses throughout the hiring pipeline. Organize candidate information for easy review by the client. Track screening outcomes, interview schedules, and hiring progress. Provide regular recruitment updates and reports. Assist with documenting and improving recruitment workflows. Candidate Communication & Experience Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound applicants. Provide professional and timely communication throughout the screening process. Answer candidate questions regarding the hiring process. Ensure candidates have a clear understanding of expectations before interviews. Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience. Process Improvement Support Identify opportunities to improve the client's current recruitment workflow. Recommend solutions to prevent missed screening steps. Help establish consistent screening procedures and documentation. Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for candidate processing. Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing. Skills The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements: Experience in recruitment, staffing, HR support, candidate coordination, or administrative support. Strong ability to screen candidates and evaluate qualifications. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruitment tasks simultaneously. Comfortable communicating with applicants professionally. Ability to follow specific hiring requirements and screening criteria. Strong time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience using online recruitment platforms and scheduling tools. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting high-volume recruitment or hiring processes. Experience working with Indeed or similar job platforms. Experience in staffing, logistics, transportation, or operations recruitment. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS). Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidate pipelines. Previous experience supporting remote teams. Knowledge of Amazon DSP operations is a plus but not required. Experience creating recruitment reports and process documentation. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
