Overview: We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and hands-on Head of Wealth Management Channels with a profound background in full-stack engineering and a proven track record of leading large-scale technology divisions within Wealth Management and Digital Products in financial services. This role demands a strategic leader who can foster a productive, collaborative, and inclusive engineering culture, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional engineering capabilities at scale in a hyper-growth environment. The successful candidate will lead the architectural and technical journey for core products, manage significant budgets, oversee large global teams and build new applications and services used by millions, all with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership & Management: Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology for Wealth Chapter Area and Channels within Wealth Management Technology, managing multi-million dollar budgets. Formulate and execute technology strategies, transitioning to global product squads to foster agility and reduce complexity. Define and implement organizational practices and engineering patterns. - Product Development & Innovation: Drive the development and launch of multi-channel digital products (iOS/Android/Web) for private banking. Lead the creation of advanced client communication and collaboration tools (e.g., secure chat, audio/video, screen-sharing). Implement self-service features and integrate external platforms. Champion in-house capability building and lead architectural and technical direction for core products. Advocate for Agile development with a customer-first approach. - Operational Excellence & Efficiency: Deliver highly reliable and performant systems focused on customer satisfaction. Drive improvements in stability, performance, and speed to market. Implement automated deployment pipelines with quality gates. Reduce running costs through strategic organizational changes and optimized architectural design. Ensure bank-compliant and secure technology solutions. Drive continuous improvement within a complex organization. Qualifications: - Extensive experience leading large technology organizations (100+ engineers) in financial services, specifically Wealth Management. - Proven expertise in full-stack development and managing full-stack engineering teams. - Strong strategic planning, budget management, and global team leadership skills. - Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and deliver complex digital products end-to-end. - Deep understanding of client channels, digital platforms (iOS/Android/Web), and secure communication technologies. - Hands-on leader with a strong coding background and advocacy for good coding standards. - Proficient in concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, RPC, Microservices, Machine Learning, Web3, Blockchain, Big Data, and Micro Front Ends. - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Kotlin, C#, Typescript, Python) or composition (Golang). - Expertise in Git, SQL, and NoSQL solutions. - Strong experience with wealth management, investment, and insurance products, including industry trends and regulations. - Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement. - A self-learner who takes ownership and can work independently.
