EHS Associate Manager

Coordinate and conduct field assessments of environmental issues to ensure operational activities are consistent with the needs of the organization and requirements of governmental regulatory agencies. ## Job Description Kraft Heinz is looking for an **EHS Manager** to lead Environment, Health, and Safety across the site, ensuring compliance with Egyptian legal requirements and Kraft Heinz standards. This role also oversees Wastewater Treatment Plant operations and drives a strong safety culture through team leadership, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities:** - Lead site-wide EHS policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives - Oversee WWTP operations, compliance, maintenance, and reporting - Develop SOPs for wastewater treatment, emergency response, and related activities - Lead, coach, and develop EHS and WWTP teams - Drive safety culture, training, and incident investigation across the site - Manage contractor safety and permit-to-work compliance - Ensure compliance with legal, ISO, and Kraft Heinz EHS standards - Support crisis management, safety committees, and EHS business planning - Monitor performance, maintain records, and drive cost and sustainability improvements **KPIs** - TRIR and severity prevention - Safety card closure rate - Legal and ISO compliance - KHMS EHS Pillar maturity - WWTP compliance and effluent quality - Contractor safety performance - Timely regulatory reporting - Operational and chemical cost control **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in science, Agriculture, or Engineering - NEBOSH certification - Minimum 6 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG - Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment, compliance, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 - Experience in contractor safety, incident investigation, and continuous improvement **Skills** - Leadership and team development - Communication and stakeholder management - Planning, coordination, and follow-up - Problem-solving and analytical thinking - Strong safety, compliance, and ownership mindset ## Location(s) 6 October Factory **Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes****.**
