## **Electrical Estimator** **Location:** Havre De Grace MD **Job Type:** Full-Time ### **Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Estimator** to support residential and commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project plans, and supporting the bid process. The ideal candidate has **3+ years of electrical estimating experience** across residential and commercial projects. ### **Responsibilities** - Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare estimates - Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment - Develop accurate and competitive project bids and proposals - Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors - Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing - Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools - Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks ### **Requirements** - **3+ years of electrical estimating experience** (residential and commercial) - Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications - Experience with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ### **Preferred Qualifications** - Background as an electrician or field experience - Experience with both ground-up and renovation projects - Knowledge of local codes and industry standards ### **Compensation & Benefits** - Competitive salary based on experience - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for growth and advancement ### **Apply Today** If you have a strong background in electrical estimating and enjoy working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, we encourage you to apply. #LAT
