Electrical Estimator (Multifamily Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team, specializing in multifamily residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating electrical systems for apartments, condominiums, and mixed-use residential buildings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to produce accurate and competitive bids. **Salary:** $105,000-130,000/year ### Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems on multifamily projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems. - Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents to identify electrical requirements and potential risks. - Develop quantity take-offs and material lists using blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes. - Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and include in overall project estimates. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to clarify project scope and ensure accuracy in estimates. - Maintain and update historical data and cost databases for future estimating purposes. - Ensure all estimates comply with local building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations. - Assist in pre-bid meetings and provide technical support to clients and internal teams. - Track project costs during construction to compare actuals against estimates and improve future estimating accuracy. ### Requirements: - 3+ years related work experience - Multifamily experience
