Electromechanical Quality Inspector Level II – Contract (Beijing, China)

We deploy experienced quality professionals across the United States and in over **90 countries** to support client and supplier sites on demand. SQA Services is seeking an **Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2)** to provide **on-site inspection support** at a supplier facility in **Langfang, Hebei, China.** This role supports a **data center infrastructure program**, focusing on **power network modules and related assemblies**. The inspector will act as a **third-party quality representative**, ensuring supplier compliance with client specifications and supporting factory ramp-up activities. This is a part-time consulting **contract role** running from **October** **through December (with potential extension)**. - **Location:** Langfang, Hebei, China - **Schedule:** Approximately 1 full week per month, Monday–Friday - **Hours:** 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during inspection weeks - **Frequency:** Approximately 5 inspections per month - **Start:** October 2026 ### Key Responsibilities - Perform **in-process and final inspections** of electromechanical assemblies - Inspect **wiring, connectors, and mechanical components** for compliance to drawings and specifications - Support **test witnessing (FAT)** and verify equipment readiness prior to shipment - Document inspection results and **report nonconformances** - Review inspection plans and validate execution at the supplier - Provide **weekly updates** on quality performance and production status - Support **supplier quality audits** as needed ### Required Qualifications - Experience performing **electromechanical inspections** in a manufacturing environment - Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings and specifications** - Experience inspecting **wiring, connectors, and assemblies** - Experience supporting **test witnessing or FAT** - Ability to work **independently on-site** - Must be **based in Malaysia (Penang preferred)** - **Must be proficient in English (spoken and written)** ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience with **data center equipment or power systems** - Experience with **packaging inspection** - Experience supporting **supplier ramp-up or NPI environments**
