Embedded Software Engineer; C++ / Telematics

Job description

Embedded Software Developer Mission: Contribute as a Software Developer to the next generation of telematics products and services (on-board). The main product is an information system in the embedded environment that communicates with vehicle systems and back-office systems. Product features include Fleet Management, Uptime services, and other connected services. The team works with an agile approach and continuously improves. Key Responsibilities: Develop embedded software in C++ Work in Scrum teams and support team-driven development Contribute to software architecture and subsystem verification Participate in product features such as Fleet Management and Uptime services Handle tasks from the backlog and specialize in certain competence domains Skills & Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years in embedded software development Proficiency in C++ (preferably C++20) Experience with Python Embedded Linux experience Automatic test development Master’s degree in electronics/computer engineering or equivalent Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written) Meriting Experience: Experience as a Scrum Master Experience working in agile teams Familiarity with Yocto Knowledge of software architecture Background in automotive or telecommunications Networking (security and routing) knowledge Experience with wireless connectivity Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
