Huawei's Heisenberg Research Center in Munich is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products. In the Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies in multiple domains. In the Automotive Engineering Laboratory, we are now looking for a: Engineer (18-months Leased Labor) - Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics Controls (m/f/d) We are seeking a skilled candidate in I ntelligent Vehicle Dynamics for vehicle stability, handling, and performance for human and Autonomous Driving Solution (ADS) features. In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced artificial intelligence with classical vehicle dynamics. You will be responsible for designing, simulating, and deploying cutting-edge control and estimation solutions for next-generation vehicles. Your mission Combine Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to enhance traditional control strategies. This includes developing AI-based state estimators and supervised learning/reinforcement learning-based controllers. Implement and tune advanced control strategies such as advanced/adaptive/robust control methods, complementing them with AI-driven insights. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as suppliers and external partners, to ensure seamless integration from concept to production. Your areas of expertise Master’s or higher degree (PhD preferred) in Artificial Intelligence, Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field, with a strong focus on AI, vehicle dynamics, or robotics. Experience in developing and deploying AI-based (supervised learning / reinforcement learning) decision-making and control systems for vehicles or robotics. Proficiency in Python/ C/C++/MATLAB/Simulink or related tools for modeling and simulation. Strong communication capabilities. Ability to make the planned deliverables happen under pressure.
