OVERVIEW Responsible for the development, creation, administration, and continuous modification of CAD 3D and 2D models, ensuring compliance with both customer and Huf engineering standards. Performs vehicle package clearance analysis through DMU reviews to validate design feasibility and integration requirements. Owns the creation, maintenance, review coordination, and implementation of engineering drawings, including engineering changes and standard Change Controls (CCs), while ensuring drawing accuracy and quality. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support product development activities and leverage serial production experience to drive robust, manufacturable, and customer-focused design solutions. Your Role Contribution in CAD Models development, creation and administration. Proactively create and change CAD 3D & 2D Perform ongoing vehicle package clearance analysis (DMU) Take responsibility for creation, review with drawing checker and change of drawings. Implement standard CCs on drawings and check. Teamwork support, serial production experience. Your skills Bachelor´s degree in mechanical or industrial Design, Mechatronics or comparable education. At least 3 years of experience as a design engineer for the automotive industry. Strong experience in a professional 3D CAD system (ideally CATIA Vs Unigraphics Nx) or comparable engineering experience. Manage Catia Tree Structures. Design for Manufacturing mindset Draft Angles Analysis Assembly Process Sheetmetal design Plastics design and process knowledge is a strong plus.
