We are looking for a Frontend Engineering Team Lead to join in our Athens office, managing our awesome people. ## **The Wow** The Engineering Team Lead assists the Engineering Manager with building high-performance teams by leading a team of highly talented people, ensuring everyone has the right environment and platform to succeed in their career as well as fostering a healthy team spirit and culture. To effectively lead a team, the Team Lead needs to have an active role as a hands-on member of the team, participate actively in the team's activities and take ownership of the team's performance. ## **A taster of what you will be involved with:** - Building a team with the right mix of skills and knowledge through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and continuous improvement. - Building and evolving our multi-brand Frontend Platform using a micro-frontend architecture and web components so teams can ship independently. TypeScript and RxJS / Signals for reactive and robust UIs, and Playwright for end-to-end automation tests. - Direct line management of people in the team, being accountable for their performance, satisfaction and career development planning. - Driving and facilitating the team's delivery to production in terms of both time and quality, taking responsibility to ensure the team makes commitments and lives up to expectations. - Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and passion for quality in our products. ## **What we are looking for** - A strong Frontend Engineering background and experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and Observable technologies (RxJS / Signals). - Ability to efficiently review PRs and provide constructive feedback - A good understanding of Agile Methodologies.
