This role leads Userlane’s go-to-market for US healthcare and life sciences. Most of our pipeline in this market comes through partners rather than direct outreach, so the role is responsible for building and managing relationships with EHR implementation firms, healthcare IT consultancies, and other technology partners. It covers both smaller, transactional co-sell deals and large, multi-stakeholder strategic accounts.
The person in this role sells directly and carries a revenue target. They own Userlane’s named healthcare and life sciences accounts in the US, from first contact through signed contract. As deals close, they document what works so it can be repeated across the wider US market. There is potential to lead a small team within 12 to 18 months depending on how the role develops, but the immediate need is for someone who can sell and build the partner relationships directly.
We are looking for partner co-sell experience and healthcare domain knowledge, rather than general enterprise sales experience alone.
Named US healthcare and life sciences accounts, from first contact to signed contract.
Partner relationships with EHR implementation firms, healthcare IT consultancies, and technology partners, covering both transactional and large strategic deals.
Business cases developed with health system and pharma leadership, covering clinician time saved, training burden reduced, tickets deflected, and go-live risk reduced.
Documentation of what works as deals close, so it can be applied consistently across the US market.
Pipeline development and revenue targets.
Attendance at healthcare IT and life sciences industry events and conferences.
High earning potential: a competitive US-market base salary plus uncapped commission, and equity in Userlane as a pre-exit scale-up.
European-style time off on a US salary band: more vacation days than is typical for US sales roles, paired with US-market compensation.
Benefits covering savings and security, health, well-being and lifestyle.
Ownership of a new market rather than a fixed territory, with the option to grow into a team lead role.
A product that deploys in about two weeks, compared to months for some alternatives.
Weekly 1:1s, a personal skills assessment and development plan, on-the-job coaching, and a budget for events and training.
