## **BWGI – Trader - Equanime** BWGI, the wholly owned asset manager of Brasil Warrant, has formed the Equity Multi-Strategy Platform as an additional investment vertical. The Equity Multi-Strategy Platform expects to hire portfolio managers across fundamental, systematic, flow-based and event-driven equity alpha strategies. Brasil Warrant has been in existence for over 100 years, managing, operating and acting as a controlling shareholder of businesses across various industries, including financial services. BWGI provides the infrastructure, processes and capital of a large-scale institutional asset manager while, at the same time, offering duration, permanence and a long-term investment horizon. --- --- **Key Responsibilities** - Execute trades across multiple investment strategies within the Equanime platform, ensuring efficient implementation of portfolio decisions and adherence to investment mandates. - Support the continued development and scaling of the Equanime trading function, contributing to best practices, infrastructure, and operational excellence. - Optimize transaction costs and execution quality through effective market analysis, broker engagement, and trading process enhancements. - Maintain a disciplined, compliant, and risk-aware trading process in partnership with Compliance and Risk teams. - Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, CIOs, and investment teams to support portfolio implementation, execution strategy, and investment decision-making. - Provide market color, liquidity insights, and execution intelligence to investment teams to inform trading and portfolio management activities. - Contribute to portfolio construction discussions by providing input on liquidity, implementation considerations, risk exposures, and hedging opportunities. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and market participants to enhance execution capabilities and information flow. - Support negotiation, review, and maintenance of trading-related legal documentation and broker agreements. - Contribute to the design, enhancement, and implementation of trading technology and infrastructure, including systems such as FlexTrade and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) tools. - Assist in onboarding new investment strategies, products, and trading workflows across the multi-strategy platform. - Participate in the broker vote process and support ongoing evaluation of broker performance and execution quality. - Support business continuity and contingency planning efforts to ensure resilience of trading operations. - Collaborate across investment, operations, risk, compliance, technology, and data teams to drive continuous improvement of the trading platform and processes.
