- Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material measurements from plans and specifications
- Identify project risks, exclusions, and cost considerations during tender review
- Assist in preparing competitive and accurate tender submissions
Quantity Surveying & Cost Management
- Complete accurate quantity calculations for materials, labour, and subcontractor scopes
- Support budgeting, cost planning, and project feasibility assessments
- Monitor and maintain estimating databases and pricing schedules
- Assist with variation pricing and cost analysis where required
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
- Source supplier and subcontractor pricing using ProcurePro
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Assist with procurement planning and cost benchmarking
- Maintain supplier databases and pricing records
Systems & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain estimating records within BuildTrend
- Ensure all project documentation is organised and accurately recorded
- Support process improvements across estimating and procurement workflows
- Assist with project handovers from estimating to delivery teams
Tools & Systems
- BuildTrend (must / ideal)
- ProcurePro (preferred)

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Cost Planner within commercial construction
- Strong experience conducting material take-offs and quantity calculations
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
Desirable
- Experience with BuildTrend and/or EstimateOne
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, or multi-residential projects
- Understanding of Australian construction contracts and tender processes
- Previous experience supporting procurement and supplier engagement
