Opportunity to serve and execute wide range of events both international and domestic clients including MICE, corporate, social events and weddings Utilise your organisational and passion in event management to drive and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Report to Assistant Directro of Event and Bridal Management Key Accountabilities Effectively communicate with group/event organizer, booker, guests, sales staff who is in-charge of the event/group and other related department personals and management who will be involved with an execution of events/groups in both written and verbal format. Once event or group contract got signed and Sales staff introduced an Event Management Manager or a Executive to the client, Event Management staff will take over further negotiations, site inspections and arrangements. If the Event Management staff and Sales staff agree, Event Management staff handle events/groups both from a contracting stage (i.e., regular corporate events, social events, and leads from Event/PR companies) and STN and TEN statuses (even contract is not yet signed) Executes the final contract incorporating all the details of the event in one contract, including room and banquet requirements as well as maintaining the policies set forth in the group sales contract (i.e., deposits, payment, cut-off dates, attrition, rooming list, billing instructions) Liaise between the client and the hotel for additional client needs (i.e., hotel rooms, catering and events, audio visual, transportation, off-site event recommendations) to increase event/group revenue by effective upselling techniques. Conduct and participate weekly Group Resume, BEO meeting and coordinate necessary arrangements with other departments (i.e., amenities, arrival/departure time, deliveries, special meal requirements). Welcome and bids farewell to all group/event organizer, booker, point of contact and/or VIPs. Handle guests complain in proper way. Establish rapport with the meeting organizer and aims to generate repeat business through this relationship. Requirements Prior experiences in event management and execution from hotel or other industry Proactive mindset and sense of urgency Understanding of MICE/ Events process and execution. Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
