Job description

## Company Description Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience. Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders. Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you. **The Role** Behind every great event is someone who has the details handled before anyone thinks to ask. That's you. You'll partner with our Events Manager to make Discovery Days, Farther Fest, offsites, and other corporate events run smoothly. You'll handle the coordination: booking vendors, wrangling rooming lists and travel, and building relationships with hotels. You'll also spot what's clunky and fix it. We want someone who sees a problem, builds the solution, and doesn't wait to be told. **Your Impact** - Own day-to-day coordination for Discovery Days: vendors, rooming lists, flights, attendee logistics, and communications - Execute across Farther Fest, offsites, and other corporate events - Build hotel and vendor relationships; negotiate room blocks and rates, and follow up on every detail - Research vendors and bring the top picks to the Events Manager with a recommendation - Create simple, repeatable processes (room requests, travel budgets) so teammates get answers fast **The Ideal Match** - 4+ years of experience in events, hospitality, or operations coordination - Strong organization and attention to detail across many moving pieces - A proactive, builder mindset: you take ownership and fix things without being asked - Clear communicator who's comfortable with vendors, executives, and everyone in between **Bonus Points** - Experience with hotel sales, room blocks, or corporate travel tools like Navan - Comfort building lightweight systems or automations - Background in wealth management, fintech, or professional services **Why Join Us** - Competitive comp package that rewards impact - Work alongside some of the brightest minds in fintech - Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startup - Chart your own growth path as we expand - Full health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA options - Unlimited PTO **Ready to disrupt wealth management? Let's talk!**
