We are seeking an experienced, insight-driven consumer marketing leader to build and lead the caregiver and consumer marketing launch strategy for KarXT in Alzheimer's Disease Psychosis (ADP), a foundational asset establishing BMS's presence in the Alzheimer's Disease therapeutic area. Unlike traditional consumer marketing roles, this position requires deep empathy for a highly vulnerable patient and caregiver population, strategic judgment in a new and emotionally complex disease area for BMS, and the ability to build a caregiver engagement model largely from the ground up. Caregivers are a critical and often serve as decision-makers in this population, spanning both family/at-home caregivers and professional caregivers across long-term care settings. This is a highly cross-functional, build-from-the-ground-up role. The Executive Director will translate the brand's overarching strategic imperatives into caregiver-facing strategy, campaigns, and content, while building and leading the Consumer & Caregiver Marketing team ahead of launch. This role will support the investigational indication (Alzheimer's Disease Psychosis – ADP), which is currently under development and has not yet been approved by the FDA. Domestic travel required (~25%). **Key Responsibilities** • Define and lead the US caregiver/consumer marketing strategy for KarXT in ADP, ensuring the work is insight-driven, disease-appropriate, and aligned to the brand's overall commercialization strategy and objectives. • Lead development and execution of unbranded and branded caregiver campaigns that build awareness and understanding of Alzheimer's-related behavioral symptoms, and support caregivers in recognizing changes and engaging with care teams earlier. • Own caregiver segmentation and message/concept development to ensure engagement strategies resonate across distinct caregiver populations and sites of care, including community and long-term care settings. • Develop caregiver-facing tools, content, and channel strategy across digital, social, and traditional media, in partnership with Medical, Advocacy, and Corporate Affairs. • Build caregiver-voice and programs that bring authentic caregiver perspective into BMS's external communications, partnering closely with Corporate Affairs and Global Patient Advocacy. • Partner with Global Patient Advocacy to ensure a single, consistent caregiver engagement model across marketing- and advocacy-led initiatives. • Partner with HEOR and Corporate Affairs to translate caregiver-focused evidence and research into a compelling, patient/caregiver-centered narrative that supports consumer engagement and the brand's broader value story. • Partner with HCP Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Customer Experience/Patient Support, and Field to ensure the caregiver experience is addressed end-to-end, from symptom recognition through diagnosis, treatment initiation, and ongoing management. • Act as a strategic thought partner to the VP, Marketing Alzheimer's and brand leadership team, representing the caregiver perspective in strategic planning and resource-prioritization discussions. • Build and lead the Consumer & Caregiver Marketing team and supporting agency roster, attracting and developing talent with the insight, judgment, and disease-state sensitivity required for this launch. • Ensure all caregiver-facing content and campaigns are developed in full compliance with Medical, legal, and regulatory requirements, and reflect the emotional sensitivity required for this patient and caregiver population. • Contribute to launch readiness updates and performance presentations to senior leadership, articulating caregiver strategy, investment rationale, and progress against brand priorities. **Qualifications & Experience** - Bachelor's degree required - 7+ years of experience in consumer, caregiver, or patient marketing, with brand or creative strategy accountability; prior launch experience strongly preferred - Demonstrated experience in specialty, rare disease, CNS/neuroscience, or other high-complexity, high-emotion therapeutic areas - Experience marketing to caregivers of cognitively impaired, aging, or otherwise vulnerable patient populations (e.g., Alzheimer's, dementia, or related neurodegenerative or behavioral health conditions) preferred - Demonstrated ability to translate complex disease and mechanism-of-disease narratives into caregiver-accessible, emotionally resonant campaigns and tools - Track record in unbranded disease-state campaign development alongside branded campaign execution, including message/concept testing and segmentation - Proven ability to lead cross-enterprise, cross-functional initiatives with senior-level influence, particularly in partnership with Advocacy, Corporate Affairs, Medical, and Market Access - Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate caregiver strategy, launch readiness, and investment recommendations to senior leadership teams - Ability to rapidly adapt and execute plans in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, including across multiple launch timing scenarios - Willing to travel up to 25% We hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway. ******Compensation Overview:****** $239,080 - $289,708 The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
