We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Shift Leader to join our franchise team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Oversee and coordinate daily shift operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality standards Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve individual and collective goals Manage staff schedules and allocate tasks effectively to optimise productivity Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives and improve operational processes Prepare and submit accurate shift reports and other relevant documentation Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food service or retail sector Demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain) Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to complete the course) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Basic computer literacy for managing schedules, reports, and other administrative tasks Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
