Think again! **Requirements:** **Qualifications & Experience:** Grade 12 plus an N6 certificate or NCV Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building/Construction, Property/Operations Management, Office Administration, or a related field. **The skills we need:** - Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Strong organisational and administrative skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to coordinate and follow up with contractors and service providers. - Data capturing, interpretation and reporting skills. - Basic understanding of facilities management, building operations, maintenance and OHS. - Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and willingness to learn. **Attributes required:** - Hands on/practical - Problem solving mindset - Proactive/takes initiative - Collaborative - Strong communication skills - Curious/eager to learn. - Strong problem-solving skills **Key responsibilities:** - Collect, capture, collate, analyse and present Facilities-related operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement. - Assist with the administration and operation of Facilities systems, including access control, CCTV monitoring, maintenance/helpdesk systems, finance and procurement portals, and other relevant platforms. - Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of Facilities projects, office moves, space changes and other building-related initiatives. - Assist with physical inspections and maintenance activities across the building, including identifying and reporting issues relating to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general building maintenance and office infrastructure. - Assist with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, including inspections, documentation, incident reporting, compliance records and corrective actions. - Liaise with internal clients, contractors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, services and Facilities-related requests. - Assist with obtaining and comparing supplier quotations, creating purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders in accordance with company processes. - Support the development, review and maintenance of SOPs, checklists, registers, compliance records and other Facilities documentation, while participating in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. **This is an 18-month contract position** High Level: At the takealot Group, ourGraduate Programme will help you build both technical and soft-skills to launch your career, learning from the best in the business.
