CPI Security, a leader in security and smart home solutions, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented **Facilities** **Maintenance/Fleet Lead** to help keep our facilities, equipment, and fleet operating safely and efficiently. This role supports general maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, and day-to-day facility and fleet needs across assigned locations. Core responsibility will be based at our location in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures and safety standards. ### What You’ll Do - Perform general maintenance and repair work, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, and vehicle servicing. - Support preventive maintenance programs and service schedules for facilities, equipment, and fleet assets. - Coordinate and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly work completed by outside vendors. - Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment, including hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, ice removal equipment, and ladders. - Communicate with the Asset Manager, cleaning crews, and other team members regarding maintenance needs and completed work. - Prioritize daily assignments using sound judgment to complete work efficiently and safely. - Complete basic tracking and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment. - Travel to assigned locations as needed to support maintenance and fleet operations. ### What We’re Looking For - 2+ years of maintenance, fleet, facilities, or related experience. - Working knowledge of general building maintenance practices and procedures. - Ability to safely use common maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies. - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. - Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. - Valid driver’s license required. - Ability to travel up to 30%. ### What’s In It for You - $50,000 - $55,000 - 401(k) with company match - Medical, dental, and vision benefits - Paid time off - Wellness programs and incentives - Education assistance and professional development opportunities - Company events, recognition programs, and paid volunteer opportunities - A team-oriented culture focused on protecting what matters most **Join CPI Security and help support the people, places, and tools that keep our teams moving.**
