Field Marketing & Campaigns Manager

Job description

PermitFlow is redefining how America builds. We’re an applied AI company serving the nation’s builders, tackling one of the largest information challenges in the economy: understanding *what can be built, where, and how*. Our AI agent workforce helps the fastest-growing construction companies navigate everything from permitting and licensing to inspections and project closeouts – accelerating housing, clean-energy, and infrastructure development across the country. Despite being a $1.6T industry, construction still suffers from massive delays, wasted capital, and lost opportunity. PermitFlow has already delivered unprecedented speed, accuracy, and visibility to over $20B in development, helping contractors reduce compliance time, de-risk projects, and scale with confidence. As the U.S. enters a new capex supercycle across data centers, factories, housing, and renewables, joining PermitFlow means building the AI infrastructure at the core of every construction project driving the next wave of reindustrialization. We’ve raised over $90M, most recently completing our [Series B,](https://www.permitflow.com/blog/permitflow-series-b) from top-tier investors including Accel, [Kleiner Perkins](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7401703305569275904/), Initialized, Y Combinator, Felicis, and Altos Ventures, with backing from leaders at OpenAI, Google, Procore, ServiceTitan, Zillow, PlanGrid, and Uber. **Our HQ is in New York City with a hybrid schedule (3 in-office days per week). We prefer NYC-based candidates or those open to relocation.** # **About the Role** We've built the foundation for events at PermitFlow. Now we need someone to own the outcome and turn events into a pillar of our GTM motion. This role runs the full events portfolio: industry conferences, owned events, customer-specific gatherings, and field marketing, plus ongoing experimentation with new formats, venues, and audiences. You'll execute hands-on, with internal and external support, and tie every event back to pipeline and revenue goals. We're an experimentation-heavy culture. You'll be given room to ideate, experiment, measure, and repeat what works. This is a manager-level individual contributor role. You already know how to set goals, manage a budget, and partner across teams, and you'll bring that experience on day one. # **What You'll Do** - Own the events portfolio: build the calendar across industry events, owned events, customer events, and field marketing, and decide where to place bets. - Run logistics end to end: venues, budgets, vendors, contractors, staffing, and the on-the-ground run of show. - Experiment deliberately and iterate quickly: test new formats, venues, and target audiences, and kill what doesn't work. - Get the right targets in the room and at our booth. Great events don't stop at a project plan; they rely on driving high-value attendees. - Connect events to revenue: define what success looks like for each event, track pipeline and revenue impact, and report results back to the business. - Partner cross-functionally: work closely with demand gen, product marketing, sales, CS, and business operations to align events with GTM priorities. - Manage event budgets and vendor relationships: negotiate contracts, manage contractor relationships, and keep spend accountable. - Build the playbook: turn what's worked into repeatable processes so the program scales as the business grows. - Represent events at the leadership level: bring recommendations and results directly to company leadership. - Source speaking opportunities at relevant industry and public events for executive leadership, including content submissions as needed. # **Who You Are** - 4-7+ years running B2B events in a fast-moving environment and know the difference between an event that just looks good and one that drives pipeline. - You can run logistics yourself. You don't need a coordinator to book a venue or manage a floor plan, but you know when and what to delegate. - You think like a marketer first and an event planner second: every event ties back to organizational goals. - You've worked closely with partners in Sales, Customer Success, and Executives. - You're comfortable with ambiguity. This program is evolving, and you'll be instrumental in building the playbooks and processes. - Bonus: experience in construction, home services, or a related built-world industry. - Bonus: experience at a startup or in AI, and genuine interest in how physical infrastructure gets built. # **What We Offer** - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a high-growth company - 100% company-paid base medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees + healthcare FSA - 401(k) savings plan - Unlimited PTO and paid family leave - Home office & equipment stipend - Daily in-office lunch and dinner provided - Commuter benefits (pre-tax transit and parking) *PermitFlow provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or family status, as protected by applicable law.* *We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities. All employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and business needs.*
