In this role, you will be
primarily
responsible for supporting our
key account in Austin, Texas
, while also providing general field service support to additional customers across the U.S.
To
ensure timely on-site support
for our key account, we are looking for candidates who are
based in, or within reasonable proximity to Austin, Texas
.
This role requires
100% willingness to travel,
as you will work both from your home office and directly on customer sites.
In summary your responsibilities include:
Install, maintain, and repair
industrial X-ray inspection systems at customer sites
Perform
preventive maintenance
, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
Provide
on-site, remote, and phone-based technical support
to customers
Conduct
customer training
and system acceptance testing
Ensure compliance with
safety and quality standards
Complete
service reports
and technical documentation accurately
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
Willingness to
travel extensively (100%)
within the U.S. and internationally as required by the role
What you should bring
High School Diploma or GED required
; Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field preferred
2–4 years of hands-on experience
in field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial/automated systems, preferably in x-ray or NDT field
Strong
mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment
Ability to read and interpret
electrical schematics
and technical documentation
Basic knowledge of
PLC-controlled systems
(Siemens experience is a plus)
Proficient with
Microsoft Office 365
and general computer applications
Hands-on, self-motivated problem solver
with the ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments
Customer-focused team player
with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, adaptable, and well-organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Valid
driver’s license
and clean driving record required
Willingness and ability to
travel up to 100
%
, primarily within the U.S. and occasionally internationally
Fluent English
required; Spanish language skills are a plus
